Our online custom 3D printing service offers two different types of 3D printing technologies to ensure your finished print meets your expectations.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is the most common technology for desktop 3D printing. FDM printers use solid plastic filament and can print with detail of 100-300 microns (sufficient for most 3D prints).
Stereolithography (SLA) creates 3D printed objects by using a light source to solidify a liquid resin. SLA printers are recommended for high-detail prints such as sculptures or jewelry.
Keep in mind, our largest 3D print build volume offered is 12″ x 12″ x 24″.
To use our online 3D service, we require a .stl file.
There are many types of 3D files, but ensure that you have it in .stl before uploading.
If you do not have your own file, there are many online 3D file repositories including Thingiverse, Cults, and Pinshape.
We also offer custom 3D design services. Please reach out to us via chat, email, or phone (1-866-326-3363) to discuss your project needs.
We offer a variety of materials to 3D print your design at Fargo 3D Printing, review them now and select your preference when placing your order.
Your general purpose material. This will be the likely choice for most 3D prints, as it is strong and rigid, but slightly brittle.

All the benefits of PLA, but with much higher heat resistance and strength (akin to ABS). May also be annealed for a stronger, stiffer piece. Learn more here.

A material ideal for mechanical uses due to its strength and durability. Also has a much higher heat resistance than PLA (ie, won’t melt in your car on a hot day).

Fargo 3D Printing’s online 3D printing service has a minimum order value of $10.00. This is the cost of getting the 3D printer ready to print, including the manual labor required.
